Site Manager

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Site Manager for the successful delivery of construction projects. The Site Manager will be responsible for coordinating day-to-day site operations, ensuring that works are carried out safely, efficiently, and in line with project plans, quality standards, and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and organize daily construction site activities.
• Support the Construction Manager in implementing project plans and schedules.
• Supervise site personnel and coordinate subcontractors.
• Monitor the quality of construction works and ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
• Ensure compliance with occupational health, safety, and fire safety requirements.
• Track site progress and report issues, delays, and risks to the Construction Manager.
• Prepare daily site reports and maintain project records.
• Identify site challenges, propose practical solutions, and take ownership of resolving issues.
• Ensure efficient use of labor, materials, and equipment on site.

Requirements

• Location & Residency: Must be currently residing in Latvia (or have a valid permit/readiness to reside in Latvia).
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in Latvian (both written and spoken) is required for effective on-site communication and coordination.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Experience: 5–10 years of experience in construction projects, preferably in site supervision or site management roles.
• Technical Knowledge: Good understanding of structural works, finishing works, façade works, and general construction processes.
• Skills: Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical documentation. Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Traits: Responsible, accountable, and able to take initiative when required. Solution-oriented mindset with the ability to identify issues and communicate them effectively.
• Growth: Willingness to learn and develop across different areas of construction.
• IT: Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
