Business Development Manager
About the roles :
A leading global IT services company is looking for a results-driven field sales professional to accelerate the growth of its Luxembourg operations center and develop new business across the local market.
This is a hunter role focused on opening new accounts, building a strong local pipeline, and positioning a full IT services portfolio with decision-makers in the Grand Duchy. You will be the company’s face in the field, combining commercial drive with a solid understanding of the local ecosystem.
Key responsibilities:
- Prospect and acquire new clients across target sectors in Luxembourg (banking & financial services, insurance, public sector, EU institutions, and large corporates).
- Build, manage, and convert a robust sales pipeline, owning the full cycle from lead generation to closing.
- Develop trusted relationships with C-level and IT decision-makers, positioning a broad service portfolio (application services, cloud, infrastructure, managed services, and consulting).
- Identify and qualify opportunities, structure compelling commercial proposals, and lead negotiations through to contract signature.
- Work closely with pre-sales, delivery, and bid teams to shape solutions aligned with client needs and the Delivery Center’s capabilities.
- Represent the company at local industry events, networking forums, and professional associations to strengthen market presence.
- Meet and exceed quarterly and annual targets on new revenue and new logos.
- Maintain accurate forecasting, activity, and pipeline reporting in CRM.
Profile we’re looking for
- 3 to 5 years’ proven experience in B2B IT services sales, with a strong new-business orientation.
- Good knowledge of the Luxembourg market and an established network of decision-makers (a clear advantage).
- Solid understanding of IT services offerings (cloud, infrastructure, application services, managed services).
- Hunter mindset: autonomous, tenacious, comfortable prospecting and operating with quantified targets.
- Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and consultative selling skills.
- Languages: fluent French and English essential; German and/or Luxembourgish a strong plus.
- Eligible to work in Luxembourg; valid driving licence
