Project Manager SAP MDG

For a client of Eswelt, we are currently looking for an experienced freelance Project Manager SAP MDG to lead the end-to-end implementation as part of a major SAP S/4HANA transformation program.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of the MDG workstream, from project initiation and planning through design, build, testing, deployment, and transition into operations. You will work closely with business stakeholders, system integrators, and cross-functional teams to establish governance, align priorities, manage dependencies, and ensure successful delivery in line with overall program objectives.

Your Profile

• 8+ years of experience in project or program management within large-scale SAP (S/4HANA) transformation programs
• Proven experience leading Master Data, Data Governance, ERP, or platform implementation initiatives from planning through go-live
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to align business, functional, and technical teams
• Experience managing System Integrators and consulting partners while driving accountability for timelines, quality, and deliverables
• Strong background in project governance, status reporting, RAID management, planning, and execution tracking
• Experience with SAP MDG, SAP S/4HANA, or enterprise data governance programs is highly preferred
• Excellent communication and leadership skills in English
