The role

This is an Assistant HR Business Partner role, supporting the global Supply Chain teams, with main focus on the teams in the Netherlands. 

This role plays a key role in delivering HR support to the business and ensuring HR delivery is in fully aligned to business goals in their area of business, building successful partnerships and collaboration with our support teams, partnering with business leaders and HR Expertise & Innovation teams and Employee Experience Teams to shape the people, culture, learning and engagement strategies, working closely with the Global HR Lead for Business Operations Capabilities. 

What You'll Be Responsible For

The Assistant HR Business Partner ensures the execution of HR activities being aligned with global direction and strategy.  

  • Act as first point of contact for employees and managers, providing support across HR topics.
  • Provide advice and guidance on the implementation of existing and new policies in line with employment law 
  • Manage offboarding process incl exit interview
  • Manage international assignments & relocation where no dedicated GM resource is available in the market
  • Manage pre-onboarding & onboarding process
  • Provide guidance on HR policies and process when employees don’t find the answer in self service tool
  • Manage and support for resolving local ER issues (performance, grievance, disciplinary, conflict, etc)
  • Leave / Absence / Illness case management
  • Guide/lead restructuring at an employee level
  • Coordinate job data changes (legal entity, fte%, reporting line,etc) & mover process
  • Maintain HR data, analyse trends, and support decision-making with insights.
  • Coordinate performance reviews, learning plans, and talent processes.
  • Project Support: Contribute to HR projects to drive the Supply Chain agenda such as engagement, capability programs, and organizational changes.

We're Looking For Someone Who

  • Experience in HR, ideally with some experience in Netherlands
  • Working knowledge of Dutch labor law and HR practices.
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, building strong relationships with trust & confidence.
  • Good knowledge of key HR processes, roles and responsibilities  
  • Comfortable with HR systems (Workday, PowerBI, UniPulse etc) and managing, analysing HR data and building insights and a point of view from that data 
  • Strong communication skills in Dutch and English
  • Hands-on, proactive mindset with attention to detail, eager to learn and share new ideas
