Application Management Specialist

The Application Management Specialist supports the realization of IT solutions in test environments by providing specialized technical expertise on systems and applications in ADM Projects. As a technology expert, works closely with the customer, driving the technical architecture definition and defining the full technical infrastructural environment of an IT solution.

The role requires an experienced profile, especially in automation and scripting, and is responsible for understanding and implementing business rules and requirements of customer systems/applications in recurrent business.

What You Will Do And Bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics Engineering or related field,
  • Turkish Citizenship is required,
  • Linux command line knowledge is a must,
  • Minimum 1–2 years of prior experience in application and system management,
  • Strong background in automation and scripting, with hands-on experience,
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of Python and Bash scripting for automating daily operational tasks,
  • Experience with Jenkins or similar CI/CD tools is required,
  • Strong middleware and WebLogic administration knowledge is required,
  • Hands-on experience in application administration technologies such as WebLogic, Nginx, Tomcat, and IIS,
  • Middleware application server experience is a big plus, especially Oracle OSB, SOA Suite, and IBM DataPower,
  • Operational understanding and experience in proactive system and service monitoring frameworks and tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios, etc.,
  • Solid understanding of SDLC processes and testing frameworks,
  • Hands-on experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, ECS, and EKS,
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking technologies,
  • Good troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills,
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders,
  • Proactively create procedures to prevent and reduce the severity of outages,
  • Willingness to continuously learn and improve,
  • Ability to develop and maintain clear and comprehensive documentation.
