Delivery Team as a part of the organization is an international organizational unit, working according to agile principles and consist of diverse roles and teams that are responsible for the technological transformation in Colonnade. This is a highly qualified team of IT Experts, located in 6 different countries, working in international teams, in a hybrid model.

CANDIDATE’S PROFILE

We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Leader to join our team and help us achieve or ambitious goals. A Delivery Manager leads an international team of experts that includes roles such as Developers, Business Analysts, and QA Specialists. As a key member of the Delivery Team's leadership group, he collaborates and plays a key role with other leaders in shaping both the team and the Delivery organization. This role is a key strategic hire to ensure Colonnade can successfully design, develop and deliver large Colonnade-wide projects within our transformation program. Delivery Manager will work closely with senior business leaders to ensure delivering innovative insurance solutions that can successfully support business growth. Delivery Manager will manage backlog and delivery in strong collaboration with business leaders and ensure, that the team delivers right solutions on time and with high quality.

DAY TO DAY TASKS – MAIN DUTIES

• Gather internal / external business requirements and demands and set up a plan to deliver.
• Cultivate teamwork through leadership and support project teams where needed. Build and maintain strong relationships with workstream leads, product owners, and all senior stakeholders to drive the implementation of deliverables according to expectations.
• Maintain project related data within program reporting framework. Monitor resource needs and issues and develop action plans to ensure program commitments are on track on the workstream level.
• Develop and manage team backlog, sprint plans, resource requirements to enable effective deliverable prioritisation.
• Communicate regularly with stakeholders, providing updates on project status and addressing any issues or concerns.
• Ensure that projects are delivered to the highest quality standards and meet client expectations.
• Oversee the performance of team members, provide feedback and support as needed to help achieve goals. Provide leadership and mentorship to team members.
• Allocate resources effectively to support the implementation of strategic initiatives and achieve organizational goals.
• Work together with other Leaders to identify opportunities for process improvements or innovation that benefit the organization.
• Foster open and transparent communication within the team, promoting collaboration and knowledge sharing.
• Foster a culture of learning and development within the organization, supporting the growth and advancement of employees.

REQUIREMENTS

List of requirements to be successful in the future role:

• Exceptional communication skills and ability to communicate to multiple levels within company. Articulate, authentic and credible, with flexibility of approach to respond to changing strategies and tactics
• An independent working style and the will and strength of character to ensure plans are implemented in full. Strengths in problem-solving, issue resolution, ability to work in a deadline-driven work environment, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
• Ability to engage internal stakeholders across a number of different functional and geographical areas in a virtual international team setting.
• Detail oriented with a demonstrated ability to organize teamwork effectively.

• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
• Strong Agile Project Management or Agile Product Management experience in software delivery environment.
• Ability to jump between the technical details and abstract, business design level.
• Experience in managing diverse teams and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Exceptional people-oriented leadership and communication skills.
• Fluent English.
• Good sense of humour 😊
• Nice to have: experience with Guidewire Software.
