Secondary Engineer – Control & Protection

About the role

We are looking for a Secondary Engineer to work with the design and follow-up of control and protection systems for high-voltage substations in Norway. The role includes both office-based work and on-site project support.

Key responsibilities

• Design, calculation, and documentation of Control & Protection solutions
• Follow-up of deliveries and subcontractors
• Preparation of technical drawings and documentation
• Ensure compliance with customer requirements and applicable standards
• Support testing and commissioning activities on-site
• Collaborate with project teams, suppliers, and factories

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of experience from substations, engineering, or site work
• Strong knowledge of Control & Protection systems
• Experience with tools such as EPLAN, E3, or AutoCAD is an advantage
• Knowledge of SCADA, power systems, and IED tools (e.g. PCM600) is a plus
• English proficiency required; Norwegian is an advantage
