Director of Product Experience & Design

Our client is a rapidly growing global digital technology company serving millions of users across multiple markets. As the company continues to expand its product ecosystem, we are seeking an experienced design leader to drive product experience excellence and elevate the organization's design capabilities.

This role will lead a multidisciplinary team spanning product design, user experience, visual design, design systems, and research. The successful candidate will play a critical role in shaping how users interact with the company's products while building a scalable and high-performing design organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and drive the company's product experience and design strategy across multiple products and business domains.
• Lead and develop teams across UX, UI, product design, visual design, and user research.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and Business leaders to create intuitive, scalable, and user-centric experiences.
• Establish design standards, governance frameworks, and design systems to ensure consistency across the product ecosystem.
• Advocate for customer-centric thinking by leveraging user research, market insights, and data to inform design decisions.
• Drive design quality and operational excellence across multiple concurrent initiatives and product roadmaps.
• Build organizational capability by hiring, mentoring, and developing design talent and future leaders.
• Champion best practices in product experience, accessibility, usability, and innovation.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in product design, user experience, or related disciplines, including significant experience leading and scaling design teams.
• Proven track record of delivering exceptional digital product experiences within technology, internet, consumer, fintech, e-commerce, gaming, SaaS, or platform businesses.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams across product design, UX, UI, visual design, design systems, and user research.
• Strong understanding of design thinking, customer journey mapping, interaction design, usability principles, and user-centered design methodologies.
• Demonstrated experience building design systems, design governance frameworks, and scalable design operations.
• Proven ability to drive cross-functional collaboration and influence stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Business functions.
• Experience working within complex digital ecosystems, supporting multiple products, business units, or customer segments.
• Strong leadership capability with experience hiring, mentoring, and developing high-performing design organizations.
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution and operational excellence in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
• Exposure to international markets and experience working with globally distributed teams is highly desirable.
• Experience leading design transformation, organizational scaling, or customer experience improvement initiatives is a strong advantage.
