AI Data Scientist - Computer Vision

We are looking for experienced Computer Vision and AI Engineers to support the development, optimization, and deployment of cutting-edge AI/ML solutions for CCTV video analytics in an on-premises environment.

• Position: AI Data Scientist/Engineer - Computer Vision
• Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE
• Duration: 6 months extendable
• Client: Semi-Government Entity
• Payroll: Dautom

Core Capabilities Required:

• Computer vision for queue analytics, crowd monitoring, and anomaly detection
• Experience with deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow / PyTorch)
• Video analytics and real-time inference pipelines
• Edge optimization (TensorRT, DeepStream, Jetson)
• Experience in production deployment and model performance tuning

Responsibilities:

• Analyze, prepare, and label video and operational data for model development.
• Develop, train, validate, and optimize computer vision and machine learning models for:
• Wait-time and queue-length estimation.
• Detection of operational issues, anomalies, and predefined events.
• Performance monitoring and continuous model improvement.
• Optimize models for deployment on NVIDIA edge devices (e.g., Jetson platform) in on-premises environments.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to define use cases, KPIs, and model requirements.
• Support model deployment, testing, monitoring, and performance tuning in production.
• Document methodologies, model performance, and deployment processes.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, and Computer Vision.
• Proficiency in Yolo, Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn.
• Experience with video analytics, object detection, tracking, and image processing.
• Hands-on experience with NVIDIA AI ecosystem, including Jetson devices, TensorRT, DeepStream, and model optimization for edge deployment.
• Experience deploying AI/ML solutions in on-premises environments.
• Knowledge of MLOps practices, model monitoring, and performance optimization.
• Experience working with CCTV/video surveillance data is highly preferred.
• Ability to work independently and engage with business and technical stakeholders.
