Job Summary:

We're looking for an ambitious, commercially curious graduate to join our team as a Business Development and Growth Intern. This is a generalist role sitting across CFTE's growth function. You'll get hands-on exposure to how we find new clients, build relationships, and win business. It's an ideal role for someone early in their career who wants to learn the full commercial side of a fast-moving education and technology company.

What you'll do:

• Support lead generation efforts by researching prospects, mapping target markets, and identifying new opportunities
• Assist with outbound outreach across email and LinkedIn, helping to build and maintain the prospect pipeline
• Help draft and refine proposals, pitch decks, and client-facing materials
• Manage and update CRM records to ensure pipeline data is accurate and up to date
• Attend client meetings and calls, take notes, and support follow-up communications
• Contribute to improving templates, processes, and tools used across the growth function
• Support the wider team on business development and operations tasks as needed
• Support the delivery of CFTE’s programmes

What you’ll bring

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• A commercially curious mindset and genuine interest in sales, business development, or growth
• Research skills and attention to detail. You're thorough and accurate
• Organised and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple tasks at once
• An eagerness to learn and a willingness to get dive in
• Previous experience in fast-paced environments (startups, consulting, or venture capital) is a plus
• A genuine curiosity and enthusiasm for AI. You follow the space closely and love experimenting with new tools
