Software Engineer

At Relevance, we help companies build their AI workforce - teams of autonomous, reasoning agents powered by LLMs. These multi-agent systems are able to automate complex, dynamic jobs end to end.

We’re always searching for talented junior engineers who want a high-performance environment to accelerate their career. Unlike at large tech companies or banks, a junior engineer at Relevance AI is expected to do more than churn gears; we’ll help you ship real features to thousands of users, every week.

You’ll be guided by our fantastic and experienced Director of Engineering, Dominick Ng - who previously worked as a Staff Software Engineer and Tech Lead at Google. There he helped bring Progressive Web Apps into existence, deprecate Adobe Flash Player on the web, and drove advancements for apps on ChromeOS.

What You Will Be Doing

• Build features across both our frontend and backend in Typescript.
• Help contribute to expanding our testing, documentation and general developer hygiene.
• Respond rapidly to requests surfaced by our users.
• Become an expert in our platform, and learn how to build multi-agent systems.
• Learn from senior engineers with backgrounds from Google, Atlassian and AWS.
  
  

Where And How Will You Be Working

• We work hybrid, as we place value on in-person culture. We work 3 days in office (Tuesday, Thursday & Friday). You can work all week in the office if you like!
• Relevance has our flagship HQ in Sydney (Surry Hills) and another office in San Francisco.
• Our team is small and tight-knit - less than 40 people.
