About the Role

We're hiring a Chief Transformation Officer to drive value creation inside a global market leader in testing, inspection, and certification (TIC), the kind of firm regulators and operators rely on to certify the technology behind highly regulated, real-money industries. The business was built and scaled by its founder and is now backed by a global private equity firm, with the founder-CEO staying on to lead it through the next chapter.

This is the right hand to the CEO. You'll own the initiatives that move EBITDA and enterprise value: pricing, AI, cost efficiency, and the operating discipline a founder-built company needs to run as a mid-sized, PE-backed business. It's a hands-on operating seat, not a strategy-deck role.

If you've wanted P&L-level impact early in your career, reporting directly to a CEO and working with the board, this is that seat.

What You'll Do

• Act as the CEO's right hand on value creation, owning the initiatives that move the numbers
• Lead pricing strategy and execution across the testing and certification portfolio
• Build the company's AI agenda: where AI speeds up testing, sharpens decisions, and takes cost out of operations
• Run cost-efficiency programs without slowing the work clients depend on
• Mature the processes, reporting, and operating rhythms that let a founder-led business run like an institutional one
• Partner with the deal team and board on the value-creation plan, then track it against the thesis

Qualifications

• 10 to 15+ years across operations, strategy, or value creation, ideally blending operating roles with a top-tier strategy consulting or PE background
• Experience in testing, inspection, and certification (TIC), or in business services and IT services where the product is a tech-enabled service
• A track record of standing up pricing, cost, and process improvements that actually showed up in the results
• Real comfort being hands-on inside a founder-led business that's professionalizing for the first time
• Genuine fluency in how AI changes a services operation, beyond the buzzwords
• Based in, or willing to spend significant time in, the New York metro or Las Vegas area
