Technical Project Manager (SaaS / Enterprise Software)

We’re seeking a highly organized and technically-minded Technical Project Manager to drive the successful delivery and implementation of enterprise software solutions. One of our premier clients, a fast-growing SaaS company serving retail and manufacturing organizations, is expanding its implementation and delivery team.

This is an opportunity to own complex customer-facing projects from kickoff through go-live, partner closely with Engineering, Product, and Customer Success teams, and serve as the primary point of coordination between technical stakeholders and enterprise clients.

Job Title: Technical Project Manager

Compensation: $80,000 - $90,000 base + bonus

Location: Hybrid - New York City (3x per week)

Responsibilities

Lead Technical Implementations

• Manage end-to-end project delivery for enterprise software implementations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Gather business and technical requirements, translate them into actionable project plans, and coordinate execution across multiple teams.
• Build and maintain detailed project timelines, risk assessments, status reports, and stakeholder communications.
  
  

Drive Cross-Functional Execution

• Partner closely with Engineering, Product Management, Customer Success, and Sales teams to coordinate project milestones and resolve roadblocks.
• Facilitate project meetings, track action items, manage dependencies, and ensure accountability across stakeholders.
• Identify project risks proactively and develop mitigation plans to keep initiatives on track.
  
  

Manage Client-Facing Delivery

• Serve as the primary project lead for customer implementations and onboarding initiatives.
• Guide customers through system configuration, data collection, testing, validation, and deployment activities.
• Communicate project progress, technical requirements, and implementation timelines to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  
  

Optimize Processes

• Develop and improve implementation methodologies, project workflows, and operational processes.
• Create documentation, implementation guides, and best practices to support scalable project delivery.
• Analyze project outcomes and recommend improvements to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
  
  

Qualifications

Project Management Experience

• 2-5 years of project management experience, preferably within SaaS, software implementation, enterprise technology, or technical consulting environments.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities.
  
  

Technical Aptitude

• Comfortable working alongside software engineers, product managers, and technical stakeholders.
• Ability to understand technical concepts, system integrations, APIs, data workflows, and software deployment processes.
• Experience translating business requirements into technical deliverables.
  
  

Communication & Organization

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong stakeholder management experience with both customer-facing and internal teams.
• Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  
  

Problem Solver

• Proactive, resourceful, and comfortable navigating ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to identify risks, troubleshoot issues, and drive projects forward independently.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing SaaS implementations or enterprise software deployments.
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or hybrid project management methodologies.
• Experience working with CRM platforms, ERP systems, supply chain software, or manufacturing technology solutions.
• Knowledge of HubSpot, Jira, Confluence, or similar project management and collaboration tools.
• PMP, CAPM, CSM, or related project management certifications are a plus.
