QA Engineer

We are currently seeking an experienced QA Specialist / QA Engineer to join our Technology & Digital Solutions team as part of our continued business growth and digital transformation initiatives.

The role focuses on ensuring the quality, stability, performance, and reliability of digital platforms, applications, APIs, and integrations, while supporting seamless customer experiences across web, mobile, and booking systems.

The successful candidate will work closely with development, product, business, and operations teams to validate requirements, identify defects early, improve release quality, and ensure all solutions meet functional, performance, security, and usability expectations before deployment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform end-to-end functional testing for web applications, mobile applications, APIs, and booking platforms.
• Validate business workflows across Flights, Hotels, Transfers, Activities, Insurance, and related travel services.
• Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
• Execute regression, smoke, sanity, integration, and user acceptance testing activities.
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects using tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
• Perform API testing using Postman, Swagger, or equivalent tools.
• Create and maintain automated test scripts for critical business workflows.
• Validate third-party integrations, payment gateways, and booking transactions.
• Conduct performance and load testing to ensure system reliability and scalability.
• Test applications across multiple browsers, devices, and operating systems.
• Validate security controls including authentication, authorization, and secure handling of customer data.
• Support release validation, deployment testing, post-release verification, and production readiness activities.
• Prepare QA reports, testing documentation, and release sign-offs.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, business analysts, and operations teams.
• Stay updated with the latest QA tools, automation technologies, and testing best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, Testing, or Quality Engineering roles.
• Strong experience in manual testing and QA lifecycle processes.
• Experience with automation testing tools and frameworks is preferred.
• Strong understanding of API testing, web testing, mobile testing, and cross-browser testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner is preferred.
• Experience in travel, tourism, OTA, airline, hospitality, or booking platforms is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
