PARTNER CONSULTANT - Blockchain

Experience: 3-6 years

Job Summary: We are seeking a DLT / Blockchain Technology Specialist with 3-6 years of experience to advise on the technical audit of the Citi Integrated Digital Assets Platform (CIDAP). The ideal candidate will focus on governance, security, resilience, data integrity, and automated controls within the blockchain ecosystem.

 Required Expertise

1. DLT & Digital Asset Technical Foundations:

• Digital Custody & Wallet Technology: In-depth knowledge of digital asset custody solutions, including multi-party computation (MPC), hardware security modules (HSMs), cold/hot storage architectures, and governance policy engines.
• Tokenization & Smart Contracts: Comprehensive understanding of the token lifecycle (minting, burning, transfer), smart contract security, and automated on-chain settlement workflows (e.g., DvP, PvP).
• Blockchain Infrastructure & Security: Expertise in blockchain node infrastructure, cryptographic key and certificate management, and the security implications of various consensus mechanisms.
• On-Chain Analytics: Experience with blockchain analytics and forensic tools for AML/CFT and transaction monitoring.

2. Technology, Infrastructure, and Cybersecurity Risk:

• Technical Risk Assessment: Ability to evaluate risks associated with third-party blockchain infrastructure, smart contract audit processes, and the security of cross-chain interoperability protocols (bridges).
• Cybersecurity & Threat Mitigation: Proven experience in assessing controls designed to mitigate critical DLT-specific threat vectors. This includes:
  • Threat Modelling: Deconstructing complex DLT platforms to identify potential attack surfaces (e.g., bridge exploits, insider threats, UI-layer injection).
  • Security Operations: Evaluating security event management (SIEM), intrusion detection (IDS), and endpoint detection and response (EDR) in a DLT context.
  • Technical Controls: Assessing offensive security posture, vulnerability management, privileged access management (PAM), DLT network access controls, SSL inspection, public address whitelisting, and transaction security measures (e.g., online/offline signing, pre-execution simulation).

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with EVM-compatible chains and smart contracts written in Solidity.
• Familiarity with emerging cryptographic standards and post-quantum cryptography readiness.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3-6 years of relevant experience in blockchain technology and digital assets.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
