Azure DevOps Engineer

Location: Remote - Travel to Stratford every few weeks

Rate: £550 per day

Contract: Initial contract until end of February

Clearance: eSC Cleared required

Are you an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer with a passion for automation and cloud delivery? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic programme where you’ll play a key role in building and optimising Azure-based delivery pipelines and cloud environments.

The Role

As an Azure DevOps Engineer, you’ll be responsible for supporting the automation, deployment, and operational management of cloud environments across a large-scale programme. You’ll focus on improving delivery pipelines, enhancing automation, and ensuring platform stability and scalability.

Working closely with development and infrastructure teams, you’ll help streamline processes and drive best practices across the cloud environment.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines within Azure DevOps
• Support Infrastructure as Code (IaC) deployments
• Automate build, deployment, and release processes
• Manage source control and implement effective branching strategies
• Support cloud platform operations and environment management
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to optimise delivery

What We’re Looking For

• Strong experience with Azure DevOps
• Hands-on experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Bicep, ARM)
• Solid understanding of Git and version control practices
• Experience with automation and scripting
• Background in cloud platform deployment and operational support

Additional Requirements

• Active eSC clearance is essential
• Ability to travel to Stratford every couple of weeks
