Agentic AI Engineer

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and deploy AI-driven solutions tailored to the strategic needs of private equity clients and their portfolio companies.
• Build and refine machine learning models optimized for performance, scalability, and business relevance.
• Implement document parsing, information extraction, and financial document intelligence pipelines, including OCR-based processing of contracts, financial statements, due diligence materials, investment memoranda, and portfolio company reports.
• Design classification and routing logic for intelligent document processing (IDP) workflows.
• Develop and deploy AI agents on AWS infrastructure, leveraging Amazon Bedrock as the primary AI platform.
• Utilize AI development tools including Claude and Codex to accelerate solution design, code generation, business analysis, and problem-solving workflows.
• Implement NLP algorithms for language understanding, text classification, and generation tasks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including data analysts, business stakeholders, and engineers—to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
• Demonstrate strong business problem understanding by identifying opportunities where AI can drive measurable operational and financial outcomes.
• Monitor, evaluate, and improve deployed models to ensure ongoing accuracy and reliability in production environments.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of Software Development experience.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, particularly Amazon Bedrock, for deploying and scaling AI solutions.
• Demonstrated experience in document parsing, information extraction, and financial document intelligence, including OCR comprehension applied to contracts, financial statements, due diligence materials, investment memoranda, and other structured business documents.
• Proven ability to design classification and document routing logic within AI-driven processing pipelines.
• Strong foundation in NLP, including language understanding, text classification, and text generation.
• Expertise in pattern recognition and neural networks for advanced model design and training.
• Proficiency in Python for building scalable, reliable AI systems.
• Experience with Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) and the design and deployment of AI agents for task automation and decision support.
• Experience leveraging modern AI platforms and coding assistants such as Claude and Codex to accelerate development and business solution delivery.
• Strong business problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to translate stakeholder objectives into deployable AI solutions.
• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience in financial services, banking, private equity, or investment management environments.
• Familiarity with private equity workflows, due diligence processes, and portfolio company operations.
• Background in MLOps and model deployment in production environments.
• Experience with financial data modeling, financial document analysis, or LLM fine-tuning.
• Experience building agentic AI systems, multi-agent workflows, or autonomous decision-support solutions.
