Embedded Software Engineer

Embedded Software Engineers are sought by this leading engineering organisation to be based at their R+D Centre in Louvain la Neuve, Belgium. The Embedded Software Engineer will be responsible for developing embedded software in C and C++ for medical devices and industrial applications. Working closely with cross-functional teams the Embedded Software Engineers will be developing embedded software under FreeRTOS or VxWorks and also at bare-metal level.

Having completed your technical education, you will have gained 2+ years of experience developing embedded software under RTOS in C and C++ preferably gained in industrial, healthcare, automotive or aerospace applications. You should be happy working at bare-metal level and any exposure to MCU/SoC interfaces (UART, SPI, I2C) would be beneficial.

Candidates need to speak fluent English and intermediate Dutch.
