Cybersecurity Operations Risk analyst

The position

Key responsibilities include:

• Planning and coordinating penetration testing in cooperation with Ethical Hacking Specialized firms to execute, test and review the company’s information security measures to protect, detect and prevent unauthorised access to the company’s information systems
• Creating and maintaining the documentation for the certification and accreditation of the company’s information system in accordance with the ISO 27001:2022 standard
• Assisting with implementing software and security measures such as firewalls; monitoring networks in close co-operation with third party providers
• Assessing the security impact of system updates and technological advances
• Examining the company’s IT systems to identify potential security weaknesses, recommending improvements to amend vulnerabilities, implementing changes and document upgrades
• Providing information for users regarding security measures and explaining potential threats.
• Co-ordinating tests on applications, network devices, and cloud infrastructures, in co-operation with specialized third parties
• Co-ordinating and designing simulated social engineering attacks
• Researching different types of attack vectors
• Developing methodologies for penetration testing
• Reviewing code for security vulnerabilities
• Reverse engineering malware or spam
• Reporting on security and compliance issues
• Automating common testing techniques to improve efficiency
• Writing technical summaries and executive reports
• Communicating findings to both technical staff and executive leadership
• Validating security improvements with additional testing

In this position, you will report to the Head of the Risk Management Unit.

The profile

The successful candidate will

• have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or over 3 years of related experience
• have a proven track record of comparable work experience, ideally within the European transaction banking environment with a proven record of full respect for information security
• have proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
• be fluent in English (in written and spoken form), an additional European language would be a plus
• be highly analytical and able to effectively troubleshoot and prioritise needs and requirements
