Project Director

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Project Director to play a pivotal role in establishing and growing a Data Centre business unit in Finland for a leading contractor operating within the mission-critical sector.

The position will be split approximately 50/50 between Project Development and Commercial Leadership, requiring a strategic individual who can both drive business growth and oversee the successful delivery of major data centre opportunities from early engagement through to execution.

On the project development side, the Project Director will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new opportunities within the Finnish and wider Nordic data centre market. This will involve building and maintaining relationships with hyperscale clients, colocation providers, developers, consultants, and key supply chain partners. The successful candidate will support bid strategy, client engagement, project planning, and pre-construction activities while helping to establish the company's long-term market presence in Finland.

From a commercial perspective, the role will focus on developing a high-performing local team capable of delivering large-scale mission-critical projects. The Project Director will lead recruitment efforts, build operational capability, establish delivery processes, and create a strong project culture aligned with the company's wider business objectives. They will also provide oversight of project budgets, commercial performance, contract negotiations, risk management, and client satisfaction.

A key objective of the role will be to create a sustainable platform for growth within Finland, positioning the business as a trusted delivery partner for hyperscale and mission-critical developments across the Nordic region.
