Senior Technology Executive - CTO/CIO/Director

About the Opportunity

This is a rare opportunity to join a high-growth international organisation at a pivotal stage of its evolution.


Working closely with the CIO and acting as their trusted counterpart, you will lead the organisation's enterprise transformation agenda, overseeing the delivery of strategic technology programmes, enterprise-wide change initiatives, and the integration of acquired business

es. This role extends far beyond traditional programme management. We are seeking a transformational leader who has successfully delivered large-scale enterprise change, led complex M&A integrations, and built high-performing PMO and delivery functions capable of supporting growth at scale.


You will inherit responsibility for a significant portfolio of transformation initiatives, including a major Workday implementation, ERP replacement, CRM modernisation, and the integration of multiple international acquisitions, while helping shape the organisation's long-term technology and business transformation strategy.


Working closely with the CIO, Executive Leadership Team, and business stakeholders, you will play a critical role in driving operational excellence, accelerating value creation, and ensuring transformation initiatives deliver measurable business outcomes.


Key Responsibilities

Enterprise Transformation Leadership

  • Lead the organisation's enterprise transformation agenda across people, process, technology, and operating model change
  • Define and execute a multi-year transformation roadmap aligned to strategic business objectives.
  • Partner with executive leadership to identify, prioritise, and deliver initiatives that drive growth, efficiency, and scalability
  • .Ensure transformation programmes deliver measurable business value and benefits realisation.


M&A Integration Leadership

  • Lead end-to-end technology and business integration activities for acquisitions
  • Develop integration strategies, governance frameworks, and execution plans for acquired entities
  • Drive systems consolidation, operating model alignment, and organisational integration activities
  • Partner with business leaders to accelerate synergy delivery and minimise integration risk.


PMO & Delivery Excellence

  • Lead and continue to evolve an enterprise PMO overseeing a portfolio of 26+ active programmes and projects
  • Build and scale PMO capabilities, governance frameworks, reporting structures, and delivery standards.
  • Establish best-in-class portfolio management, financial governance, risk management, and benefits tracking processes.
  • Drive consistency and accountability across internal teams and external delivery partners.


Strategic Programme Leadership

  • Provide executive sponsorship and oversight for major transformation initiatives including
  • Workday implementation
  • ERP transformation and replacement
  • CRM modernisation
  • Enterprise platform and integration programmes
  • Data and digital transformation initiatives
  • Ensure successful execution across complex, multi-vendor and multi-geography environments.



Essential Experience

  • Proven experience leading enterprise-scale transformation programmes within complex organisations
  • Demonstrated success delivering large-scale business and technology transformation initiatives, including ERP, HCM, CRM, or similar enterprise platforms.
  • Direct end-to-end M&A integration leadership experience, from due diligence through integration and value realisation.
  • Track record of building, scaling, and leading enterprise PMO or transformation functions.
  • Experience managing large, complex portfolios of strategic programmes and investments.
  • Strong executive stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at Board and C-suite level.
  • Experience operating in high-growth, acquisitive, or rapidly changing environments.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a focus on measurable business outcomes.


Preferred Experience

  • Significant Workday programme leadership experience (HCM and/or Finance).
  • Experience within manufacturing, industrial, or multi-site environments.
  • Experience leading international transformation programmes and cross-border integrations.
  • Exposure to US-based acquisitions and integration programmes.
