Job Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Cyber Security Expert to join the Security department of our Customer in Lugano.

The role will be involved in cross-functional activities across the full security landscape, acting as a key liaison between GRC, Risk, IT, and Business teams. This position requires a solid understanding of both regulatory and technological contexts, along with a hands-on approach to security initiatives.

Rolesand Responsibilities

• Support risk assessment activities and ICT / cyber risk analysis
• Contribute to Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) processes and initiatives
• Support the implementation of security policies, standards, and regulations (e.g., banking regulations, security frameworks) into IT systems
• Collaborate with IT teams, Security teams, and Product Owners to ensure security best practices are embedded into projects
• Manage and monitor security-related tickets, ensuring proper tracking and timely resolutionSupport in compliance activities
• Participate in vulnerability management and remediation activities
  
  
  

Qualifications And Technical Skills

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field
• Previous experience in Information Security / Cybersecurity
• Good understanding of IT architectures and information systems
• Experience or familiarity with GRC activities
• Knowledge of main security frameworks and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, DORA)
• Understanding of risk management and compliance principles
• Ability to interact with both technical and business stakeholders
• Good command of English

• Experience in the Financial Services / Banking sector
• Experience with ticketing and workflow management tools
• Security certifications (e.g., ISO 27001, CISM, CISA, Security+)
• Knowledge of vulnerability management or security operations
  
  
  

Location Requirement

• This position is fully office-based, requiring a 5-day-per-week on-site commitment
• Candidates should be prepared to relocate to Canton Ticino/Switzerland or towns near the Swiss-Italian border
