IT Security Architect

As a Senior IT Security Architect, you will be part of the IT Security Architecture & Operations team, driving the alignment of business objectives with robust security strategies. You will play a key role in defining enterprise security standards, shaping architectural direction, and ensuring systems are resilient against an evolving threat landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Define, implement, and maintain enterprise-wide IT security architecture standards, frameworks, and guidelines
• Translate business requirements into secure, scalable technical solutions
• Design and review applications, systems, and infrastructure to ensure they meet security best practices
• Apply modern security principles, including:

Zero Trust Architecture

Defense in Depth

Automated Detection and Response

• Conduct security architecture reviews, risk assessments, and threat modelling
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory and industry standards
• Provide expert guidance to stakeholders on security architecture decisions and technology direction

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
• Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT Architecture, or similar specialisation (preferred)
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior IT security, architecture, or related role
• Strong experience in:
• Security architecture design and governance
• Risk assessment and threat modelling
• Security frameworks such as NIST CSF
• Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, SABSA, TOGAF, or equivalent are a plus

English – required
