The vLab in MI OPS COSI Universal Lab organization is responsible for building, maintaining and evolving the cloud-based common infrastructure required to enable the strategic products to be delivered on a common software platform.

Our team provides CN and AN Org's with common platforms, cloud resources to the R&D community for testing of virtualized or containerized applications, standardization & commonality across business units and operational efficiencies across the DevOps tools, systems and infrastructure.

How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn

As part of our team, you will:

  • Work in team and as individual lead engineer that prepares and manages new networking architectures for cloud environments
  • Support growth and integration of cloud infrastructures
  • Verify and provide solutions for issues in cloud laboratories, identified within network architectures
  • Monitor and plan upgrades for VLAB network architecture

Key Skills And Experience

You have:

  • Knowledge of dynamic routing technologies used for cloud data centers
  • Experience in management of L3 network architectures (Spine/Leaf)
  • Base programming skills to automate network configurations
  • Base linux skills
  • English on B2 level

It would be nice if you also had:

  • Experience in cloud-based platforms
  • Network monitoring and management tools (eg.: Netbox, LibreNMS, Zabbix)
  • Knowledge about networking for Openshift/Openstacks/KVM/VmWare Virtualization
  • Good communications and organizational skills
  • Ambition to identify and implement improvements, procedures & documentation to support a continuous improvement environment
  • Knowledge of SDN platforms (VMware NSX / Nuage VSP)
