Senior Frontend Developer - Angular (Banking)

Keyrus is partnering with a leading global banking technology provider to hire a Senior Frontend Developer (Angular) for a major digital transformation initiative in the wealth management sector.

Our client is a next-generation banking technology and operations provider serving private banks and wealth managers globally. As part of their modernization journey, they are investing heavily in digital banking platforms and are looking for an experienced Angular developer to help build modern, scalable, and high-performing user experiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality, responsive web applications using Angular.
• Design, develop, and test new features and enhancements.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Work with third-party libraries and support codebase upgrades and migrations.
• Participate in technical discussions, architecture reviews, and code reviews.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
• Provide recommendations to improve and evolve the frontend architecture.
• Estimate development effort and support sprint planning activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application defects and bugs.
• Mentor junior developers and share technical knowledge within the team.
• Maintain and support CI/CD pipelines when required.
• Implement and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end testing practices.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• At least 10 years of software development experience.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience developing applications using Angular.
• Strong experience building enterprise-grade web applications.
• Solid experience working within banking or financial services environments.
• Good understanding of Agile development methodologies.
• Experience working with RESTful APIs and system integrations.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with CI/CD practices and automated testing frameworks is highly desirable.

Preferred Experience

• Digital banking or wealth management applications.
• Modern frontend architecture and best practices.
• Unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing frameworks.
• Experience mentoring junior developers and contributing to technical leadership.
