What you'll do...Role summary:
As a Product Manager III at Walmart, you will lead strategy and execution for moderately complex products by driving customer discovery, prioritizing roadmaps, and managing go-to-market initiatives. This role requires leveraging data-driven insights and cross-functional collaboration to enhance customer experiences and achieve business objectives. You will define measurable success metrics, and apply emerging technologies to create competitive advantages. Your contribution will ensure effective product lifecycle management, from research and validation to launch readiness, supporting Walmart’s commitment to operational excellence and customer value.
About the team:
The Data Product team empowers Sam’s Club to make faster, scalable decisions by transforming raw data into trusted, reusable products. The team ensures data reliability, usability, and alignment with business goals across analytics, experimentation, and AI-driven initiatives. They develop and manage core data products that support reporting, insights, and advanced analytics, collaborating closely with engineering, analytics, and data science teams. With a strong product mindset, the team emphasizes clear ownership, adoption, and measurable business impact while designing data products that are future-ready for AI and automation.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :

What you'll do:
- Own strategy and execution for a moderately complex product, driving customer discovery and roadmap prioritization.
- Research and validate customer needs through engagement, journey mapping, and data analysis to identify experience gaps.
- Define product strategy and business objectives by benchmarking competition and setting measurable KPIs.
- Operates at the intersection of product management, data platforms, and applied AI, partnering closely with engineering, data science, analytics, and business teams.
- Manage product lifecycle including backlog prioritization, launch readiness, and post-launch success metrics.
- Apply data-driven decision making and experimentation to optimize product features and user adoption.
- Mentor junior product managers and foster continuous improvement within the team.
- Proven experience in product strategy development and execution for moderately complex products.
- Strong skills in data-driven decision making, including product analytics and experimentation techniques.
- Expertise in creating and managing product roadmaps aligned with customer and business priorities.
- Ability to engage and manage stakeholders effectively across cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated capability to mentor and develop junior product managers.
- Proficiency in leveraging emerging technologies and AI to enhance product value.
- Excellent communication skills to articulate vision, strategy, and performance insights clearly.
