About the Role
In a demanding, performance-driven industrial environment, the Sales Manager defines, leads, and deploys the company’s commercial strategy.
You are responsible for driving revenue growth, profitability, customer satisfaction, and sustainable commercial performance, in alignment with the regional strategy and Group standards.
Your mission:
Business Development & Sales
- Define and execute the local and export commercial strategy
- Develop and retain the existing customer portfolio
- Identify and convert new business opportunities
- Achieve and exceed annual sales, volume, and margin targets
- Increase market share and overall profitability
- Lead market studies, competitive analyses, and customer satisfaction surveys
Sales Team Management & Leadership
- Lead, motivate, and develop the commercial team
- Set and monitor individual and collective objectives
- Ensure coaching, performance reviews, and skills development
- Track and improve commercial KPIs
- Ensure business continuity through effective organization and back-up
Internal Coordination & Operational Performance
- Work closely with Production, Logistics, Quality, and Finance teams
- Oversee customer claims and technical cases
- Contribute to the optimization of packaging solutions and bag constructions
- Support transport cost optimization and negotiations with carriers
- Supervise invoicing, customer collections, and sales forecasting
Steering, Reporting & Systems
- Prepare annual sales budgets and monthly forecasts
- Maintain and leverage Group systems and tools (ERP, Lighthouse, CPQ, Paper FC Tool)
- Produce commercial reports (daily, monthly, ExCom, customer reports)
- Ensure structured market intelligence reporting to Management
Your profile:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a commercial role, ideally in an industrial environment
- Bachelor’s degree (minimum) in Business, Management, Engineering, or equivalent
- Proven experience managing a sales team
- Strong knowledge of regional/sub-regional markets
- Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated ability to drive customer-focused growth
- Excellent negotiation and key account management skills
- Strategic vision and strong prioritization abilities
- Solid command of ERP and reporting tools
- Analytical thinking, rigor, and autonomy
- Fluent in Arabic and English; additional languages are an advantage
- Willing to travel within the region 50%
