About the Role

Job responsibilities

· Analyse new requirements and provide impact analysis

· Write clean, well-designed, reusable code and efficient unit tests

· Review and maintain code to ensure high performance

· Follow SOLID principles while building applications

· Troubleshoot, test, and upgrade software and databases

· Integrate new and existing apps with third-party web-based systems

· Work with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of software solutions

Minimum requirements

· Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)

· Experience working with the LAMP tech stack: Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP/Perl/Python (rare exceptions for highly skilled developers)

· Proven experience in PHP Development

· Experience working with web APIs (REST, SOAP, or XML)

· Strong knowledge of accessibility standards, web standards, and browser compatibility

· Fluency in English for effective communication

· Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) with a 4 hour overlap with US time zones

Preferred skills

· Proficient with MVC architectural pattern

· Knowledge of object-oriented scripting and DBMS concepts

· Working knowledge of Perl and Python programming languages

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
