Job Title: Senior Software Engineer (PHP - Laravel)

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with 5+ years of experience in developing scalable web applications using PHP (Laravel) and SQL. The ideal candidate should have strong backend development skills, experience building RESTful APIs, and a passion for writing clean, maintainable code. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable applications using PHP (Laravel).
• Develop and optimize database solutions using SQL.
• Build and consume RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, QA, and Engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code following best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and continuous process improvements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with PHP and Laravel.
• Excellent knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs.
• Understanding of software design principles and object-oriented programming.
• Experience with Git and version control systems.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.

Good to Have

• Experience with .NET.
• Exposure to Snowflake.
• Experience working with AWS cloud services.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and containerized deployments.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Agile development methodologies.
