Software Engineer

What You'll Do

• Play a core role within the development team, responsible for analyzing, designing, and building software solutions that help customers seamlessly onboard to Cisco Spaces offers.
• Develop and maintain efficient scripts and tools to monitor Cisco Spaces applications and offerings.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand customer needs and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Ensure all development activities adhere to organizational standards, best practices, and quality benchmarks.
  
  

Who You'll Work With

You will work with a team focused on enabling customers to optimally onboard to Cisco Spaces offers. The team is responsible for:

• Custom solution development that extends product capabilities
• Building internal tools and dashboards for Cisco Spaces
• Providing L3 support and resolving complex technical issues

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Engineering or Computer Science with 2–3 years of relevant experience
• Strong expertise in:
• Programming: Java, Kotlin
• Frontend: Angular, React
• Backend: Node.js
• Web Technologies: JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap
• Experience with databases such as MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, Cassandra, etc,.
• Proficiency in version control systems (e.g., Git, TFS)
• Experience integrating multiple data sources, APIs, and distributed systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Solid understanding of use-case driven development
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Good understanding of cloud platforms and Linux environments
• Exposure to Agentic AI concepts is a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Experience in product engineering
• Hands-on experience with AWS or other cloud platforms
