As an Android Lead Engineer - Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving software and product innovation within our Technology Consulting practice. You will lead the development and implementation of cutting-edge Android applications, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver impactful solutions for our clients. As a Manager, you will guide and mentor your team, leveraging your strategic planning and business acumen to manage client accounts and deliver exceptional service. You will be responsible for fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation, while upholding our firm's quality standards and values.

Responsibilities

• Leading the development and implementation of Android applications using Kotlin and Java
• Managing software engineering teams to deliver innovative product solutions
• Overseeing the application lifecycle management and confirming alignment with client requirements
• Utilizing API management and microservices architecture to enhance application performance
• Conducting code reviews and maintaining coding standards to improve software quality
• Implementing continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines for efficient software deployment
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business process improvements
• Analyzing business requirements and translating them into technical specifications
• Guiding teams in debugging and troubleshooting software issues to maintain system reliability
• Promoting the adoption of agile methodologies and software development best practices
• Developing and maintaining enterprise application architecture to support scalable solutions
• Coaching and mentoring junior staff to foster professional growth and development
• Building and nurturing client relationships to understand and address their technology needs
• Validating software testing processes to confirm application functionality and performance
  
  

What You Must Have

• At least a Bachelor's degree
• At least 8 years of experience
• Oral and written proficiency in English required
  
  

What Sets You Apart

• Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Artificial Intelligence, Business Analytics, Computer and Data Engineering, Computer Science, Human Computer Interaction, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems/Technology, Machine Learning, Management Information Systems, Software Engineering
• Demonstrating proficiency in Android Operating Systems and Kotlin Programming Language
• Utilizing Acceptance Test Driven Development (ATDD) and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) methodologies
• Excelling in Application Development and Software Project Management
• Deep proficiency in Kotlin; working knowledge of Java.AI-first projects using tools like Claude, Codex, Cursor, and Gemini.
• Strong command of Android Jetpack (Compose, Navigation, Room, WorkManager, ViewModel, LiveData / Flow).
  
  

Solid understanding of clean architecture, MVVM / MVI, and modularisation strategies

• Leveraging experience in API Management and Microservices (Networking)
• Leading teams in Software Design and Enterprise Application Architecture
• Mentoring junior staff in Software Development Methodology and Quality Assurance Testing
