Project Assistant / Project Manager – Drug Discovery & Computational Biology
About the Role
We are looking for motivated and organized professionals to join our Drug Discovery team in two capacities:
- Project Assistant (0-1 Years Experience)
- Project Manager (3-5 Years Experience)
The ideal candidates will support and manage interdisciplinary Drug Discovery projects involving Computational Biology, scientific research, and cross-functional coordination.
Position 1: Project Assistant
Experience: 0-1 Years
Key Focus Areas
- Computational Biology / Biotechnology
- Administrative and Project Coordination Support
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Drug Discovery and Computational Biology teams.
- Schedule meetings and maintain project calendars.
- Prepare Minutes of Meetings (MoMs) and track action items.
- Maintain project documents, reports, and scientific records.
- Coordinate procurement requests and follow up on administrative activities.
- Organize and manage shared files using OneDrive and collaboration tools.
- Prepare presentations and reports using MS Word and MS Excel.
- Support project tracking and assist in maintaining timelines.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biotechnology, Computational Biology, Life Sciences, or related fields.
- Strong administrative and documentation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), OneDrive, and Zoom.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Basic understanding of Computational Biology concepts and Drug Discovery processes is preferred.
Position 2: Project Manager
Experience: 3-5 Years

- Project Management

- Drug Discovery
- Software and Scientific Tools (Preferred)
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate Drug Discovery and Computational Biology projects.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery of milestones.
- Coordinate with scientific, technical, and business stakeholders.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, and presentations.
- Conduct project review meetings and follow up on action items.
- Manage procurement activities and project-related administration.
- Support cross-functional collaboration and risk management.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biotechnology, Computational Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related disciplines.
- 3-5 years of project management experience in Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, or Drug Discovery organizations.
- Strong understanding of Drug Discovery workflows and Computational Biology concepts.
- Experience managing multidisciplinary scientific projects.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, OneDrive, Zoom, and project management tools.
Preferred Technical Knowledge
- Cell Culture and Small Molecule Drug Discovery.
- Computational Biology software and scientific data analysis tools.
- Project management software such as Jira, Asana, MS Project, or similar tools.
- Experience handling scientific documentation and research coordination.
