About The Role

We are looking for a motivated Junior DevOps Engineer to join our Cloud and Infrastructure team. This role is ideal for recent graduates and early-career professionals who are passionate about cloud computing, automation, software deployment, and infrastructure management.

As a Junior DevOps Engineer, you will work closely with software developers and senior infrastructure engineers to streamline deployment processes, improve system reliability, and support cloud-based applications. This position offers hands-on exposure to modern DevOps tools, cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and automation technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in maintaining cloud infrastructure and deployment environments.
  • Support the implementation and monitoring of CI/CD pipelines.
  • Help automate repetitive operational and deployment tasks.
  • Monitor system performance, availability, and application health.
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment-related issues.
  • Collaborate with development teams to improve release processes.
  • Assist with managing cloud resources and configurations.
  • Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.
  • Support security, backup, and disaster recovery processes.
  • Participate in infrastructure improvement and optimization initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of Linux operating systems and networking concepts.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Knowledge of Git and version control systems.
  • Basic scripting skills using Python, Bash, PowerShell, or Shell scripting.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Enthusiasm for cloud technologies and automation.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with Docker and containerization concepts.
  • Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
  • Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.).
  • AWS Cloud Practitioner, Azure Fundamentals, or similar certification.
  • Internship, academic project, or personal lab experience involving cloud infrastructure.
