Project Manager

About the Role

First Point group are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead critical network infrastructure projects, focusing on network streams. The ideal candidate will coordinate delivery and optimization of services, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration across teams for project success.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Focus on delivering network streams
2. Coordinate and manage the delivery of new services, including:

• WAN link provisioning
• Switch installations
• Wi-Fi AP installation
• APN migration from on-prem to cloud
• Network optimization (Bandwidth and SLA upgrades)

1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met.
2. Communicate with stakeholders and arrange cutover dates.
3. Manage cutover sessions efficiently.
4. Work scheduled late afternoons to evenings and weekends for complex migrations.
5. Complete and maintain accurate project documentation.
6. Log changes weekly for the Change Advisory Board.
7. Maintain adherence to project timelines and schedules.

Expected Behaviours:

• Standardize project methodology, templates, and processes.
• Demonstrate strong project governance and discipline.
• Collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Key Skills & Experience Required:

• Proven experience in network infrastructure projects.
• Expertise in switch/router/AP solutioning, configuration, and installation (e.g., Aruba, Cisco).
• Strong project management experience with a track record of delivering successful outcomes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in English.
