We are looking for an experienced and passionate Project Coordinator to join our Melbourne Hub to support a diverse range of projects and industry-leading clients.


As a MIGSO-PCUBED Consultant, you will play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of projects by coordinating project activities, maintaining project governance, and ensuring project teams remain aligned to delivery objectives. Working closely within a team of MP Consultants, you will collaborate with Project Managers, Business Analysts, technical teams and stakeholders to support project planning, delivery, governance and continuous improvement initiatives. Your organisational, analytical and communication skills will be instrumental in driving project outcomes across multiple workstreams.


Your Responsibilities will include:


  • Supporting the coordination of project activities to help ensure key milestones and deliverables are achieved.
  • Assisting Project Managers with project planning, scheduling and day-to-day project administration.
  • Coordinating project meetings and workshops, preparing agendas, recording minutes and following up on action items.
  • Maintaining project documentation, including project plans, RAID logs, action registers and status reports.
  • Monitoring project progress and highlighting potential risks, issues or schedule impacts to the project team.
  • Assisting with project reporting by preparing regular status updates, dashboards and meeting packs.
  • Supporting Agile delivery by participating in sprint ceremonies and helping maintain project backlogs and delivery artefacts.
  • Assisting with the gathering, documentation and validation of business requirements, user stories and process documentation.
  • Liaising with business and technical stakeholders to support effective communication and timely resolution of project actions.
  • Supporting governance activities by ensuring project artefacts are accurate, up to date and compliant with project standards.
  • Assisting with change requests, resource coordination and other project support activities as required.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance project coordination and delivery processes.


As an MP Consultant, you must deliver expertise, adapt to new environments and industries, and be able to work with both internal and external teams. You will represent the MP brand on client sites and exemplify our core DNA of #TeamSpirit, #Commitment and #Excellence. You will leverage both your expertise in the PPM discipline and a wide breadth of MP material and preparation to successfully support our clients.


WHO ARE YOU?


You have at least a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Information Technology, Project Management or a related discipline.


You have 3–6 years of experience supporting complex projects and programs in a Project Coordinator, PMO, Business Analyst or Agile delivery capacity within large and complex organisations.


You have experience supporting project governance, coordinating project activities, gathering and documenting business requirements, facilitating Agile ceremonies, and maintaining project documentation. You are confident managing RAID logs, action registers, project schedules, reporting and stakeholder communications while supporting both Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.


Experience using project management and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps or similar platforms is highly regarded.


You possess excellent communication, stakeholder management, organisational and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail. You are proactive, adaptable, collaborative and thrive in fast-paced project environments. You are comfortable engaging with both business and technical stakeholders and can quickly adapt to new industries and delivery environments.
