Venture Search is partnered with a leading proprietary trading firm with just under 10 years of experience that is based in Latvia, specializing in making crypto markets more efficient and liquid. The firm is currently seeking a HFT algorithmic trader, to assist in optimizing and creating trading strategies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test high-frequency arbitrage trading strategies.
• Engage in post-trade analysis to comprehend execution results and make trading systems better over time.
• Work on asset management system optimization, ensuring efficient asset allocation across exchanges.
• Work alongside other algorithmic traders to increase system performance.
• Focus on long-term research and strategic improvements, contributing your alternative views to enhance system performance.
• Examine past data to identify inefficiencies, enhance risk management tactics, and optimize signal parameters.

Experience

• Minimum +2 years' of practical experience with algorithmic trading systems.
• Experience with cryptocurrency and market making is advantageous.
• Strong Python skills
• Understanding of risk management, hedging, and arbitrage.
• Excellent analytical and quantitative abilities
• Willingness to work in a hybrid environment with an on-site presence.
