We partner closely with clients to support their expansion to new markets guiding them every step of the way as they navigate and adapt to new business environments.


Our R&D tax team has an opportunity for a Graduate looking to kick-start their career as a Graduate R&D Consultant. This is an ideal role for a confident, capable individual who would thrive in an intellectually challenging role and eager to take a leap forward within a dynamic, fast-growing business backed by a strong and established client base.


This exciting role is open across our Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney offices with flexibility to work remotely if located elsewhere.


What will you be doing?


Under the direction of our Senior R&D Manager you will be responsible for:


  • Working with clients to address questions surrounding eligibility of R&D activities;
  • Drafting summary reports detailing clients’ proposed R&D activities, including technical descriptions of the work to be undertaken for review;
  • Undertake regular reviews of clients’ R&D activities and expenditure;
  • Preparation of R&D expenditure calculations;
  • Preparing official applications to the Department of Industry (AusIndustry) for review; and
  • Liaising with AusIndustry and the Australian Taxation Office as required.


What are we looking for?


  • Tertiary qualification in one of the following: commerce, accounting, law, or Engineering/IT/Life Sciences/Mathematics
  • A high level of computer literacy (must be proficient using Microsoft Excel and Word)
  • Excellent communication skills combined with strong attention to detail, a diligent work ethic and a confident, positive approach.
  • Ability to think laterally and develop creative, innovative solutions to challenges.
  • Strong organisational skills and the capacity to successfully manage competing priorities.
  • Ability to work effectively both in an independent autonomous capacity and as part of a team.
