Join Vertical Scope Group’s (VSG) Professional Services Division in Adelaide as we are seeking a driven, highly skilled and competent NV1 (min) Project Manager to join our award-winning team in supporting our Defence and National Intelligence Community customers.

About the role:
- Prepare project documentation and/or assist with the review and clearance process for project documentation including Mobilisation activities with the Australian Shipbuilder
- Support the SSN-AUKUS Acquisition Branch in workforce development initiatives with the Australian Shipbuilder and with the secondment and embedment of Australian Shipbuilder personnel
- Lead the drafting and coordination of briefs, submissions, and other written material for ASA senior leadership and Government/Cabinet
- Manage the end-to-end delivery of briefing products, from initial drafting through to final clearance
- Coordinate across ASA to gather input, align positions, and ensure a consistent, agreed message
- Turn complex or unclear issues into simple, well-structured, decision-ready advice;
- Manage timelines and competing priorities to ensure briefing outputs are delivered when required
- Respond to emerging and sensitive issues in a timely and considered way
- Work closely with senior stakeholders to shape key messages and positions
- Bring different areas together to resolve issues and support a clear, coordinated approach
- Track actions, clearances, and dependencies associated with briefing and governance processes
- Handle sensitive and classified matters with care and good judgement;
- Support governance meetings with briefing packs, talking points, and follow-up actions where needed
- Ensure all written work is clear, accurate, and meets a high standard
- Build strong working relationships across ASA and with external stakeholders;
- Contribute to improving how briefing and advice is coordinated and delivered across the programme
- Mentor and transfer knowledge to the APS project team within the SSN-AUKUS Acquisition Branch and
- Carry out other Project Management tasks as required, in line with the role
