About The Role

Join Suncorp’s AI and Data Science Centre of Excellence, where you will contribute to turning data into meaningful business outcomes. You will design and deliver advanced analytics solutions that support strategic initiatives and improve customer and business performance. This role sits within the Technology and Operations function and partners closely with stakeholders across the organisation.

What You’ll Do

• Engage with business stakeholders to understand challenges and deliver data science solutions that create measurable value
• Design and deliver advanced models and algorithms within an agile framework to ensure continuous improvement and impact
• Contribute to the development of AI and data science initiatives that integrate into core business systems
• Apply strong technical expertise to solve complex problems using machine learning and analytical techniques
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to best practice across the data science community
  
  

What You’ll Bring

• Experience applying advanced data science techniques such as machine learning and predictive modelling to deliver business outcomes
• Knowledge of generative AI concepts, including prompt engineering and modern AI tooling
• Strong capability in building and deploying analytical solutions, including working with data pipelines and cloud-based platforms
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear insights for stakeholders across the business
• Relevant degree or equivalent experience in data science, statistics, mathematics, or computer science
