We have established a passionate, creative, and motivated team, and we are looking for a dedicated Senior Software Engineer as part of our Software Development Department to help us develop flight mission-critical software systems by designing, building, and refining the systems our airline customers rely on every day.

Senior Software ENGINEER (F/M/O)

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and implement features end-to-end across our Java/Spring Boot backend
• Break down requirements into well-scoped technical plans
• Make sound design decisions, weighing maintainability, performance, and timelines
• Own components or services from design through rollout
• Contribute actively to code reviews, raising the quality bar across the team
• Help uphold and apply our engineering standards and development practices
• Mentor and support less experienced developers through pairing and guidance
• Act as technical escalation for the support team

What you bring

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong Java backend development with Spring Boot
• Good understanding of relational databases, ideally PostgreSQL (schema design, query optimization)
• Working knowledge of Angular (components, services, RxJS, state management)
• Passion for clean, maintainable code and long-term quality

Nice to have

• Containerization (Docker) and CI/CD pipelines
• API integration experience (consuming or designing external interfaces)
• Familiarity with Agile/Kanban team structures
• Prior experience participating in code reviews
• Interest in/or experience with AI-assisted development tooling, Cyber Security, GeoServer
