Information Technology Security

We are currently seeking a highly experienced IT Security in a leading international construction company operating in Africa. The company provides comprehensive services in the planning, design, engineering, construction, operation, and maintenance of buildings, infrastructure, and industrial projects. With more than 50 years of proven expertise, the company has established itself as a key player in the construction industry.

Your Responsibilities:

• Support the development and implementation of the company’s IT security strategy, governance structure, policies and procedures
• Establish cybersecurity standards based on frameworks such as ISO/IEC 27001, NIST and GDPR
• Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, internal audits and compliance checks
• Monitor, investigate and document security events, incidents and potential breaches
• Support incident response, disaster recovery planning and business continuity measures
• Act as a central IT security interface for internal IT teams, end users, management and external service providers across distributed locations

Your Profile:

• Education in Computer Science, Information Security, Information Technology or a related field, combined with a minimum of 3 years of relevant IT security experience
• Hands-on experience in IT security operations, governance, risk management and policy implementation
• Strong knowledge of network security, cloud security, IAM, Zero Trust and Data Loss Protection
• Practical experience with Fortinet, Kaspersky and Microsoft Security solutions is highly important
• Experience with security frameworks such as ISO/IEC 27001, NIST CSF, CIS Controls or MITRE ATT&CK
• Experience in geographically distributed IT environments, ideally with challenging infrastructure conditions, is an advantage
• Very good English skills
