Full Stack Engineer

We're looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer to join a long-term digital transformation project.

You'll become part of a collaborative technology team responsible for modernising internal and external digital platforms, supporting critical business functions, and delivering secure, high-performing web applications.

The Role

As a Full Stack Developer, you'll contribute to the migration of an existing web platform to a modern Content Management System while also supporting its ongoing development and maintenance. You'll work closely with solution architects, DevOps engineers, and security specialists to build scalable, secure, and reliable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Migrate an existing platform to a modern CMS solution.
• Develop and maintain full stack applications across frontend and backend technologies.
• Review code with a focus on performance, scalability, maintainability, and security.
• Improve application performance through caching strategies, database optimisation, and CDN/WAF enhancements.
• Enhance platform monitoring, logging, and alerting using cloud-native observability tools.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
• Contribute to incident, change, and service management processes.
• Produce technical documentation in line with governance and audit requirements.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional technical teams throughout the migration programme.

Required Skills & Experience

• Fluent English, plus either French or Dutch.
• Commercial experience developing backend services using Python and FastAPI.
• Professional frontend experience with React (Next.js experience is advantageous).
• Experience building backend applications with Node.js (NestJS is highly desirable).
• Experience working with headless CMS solutions using Node.js (TypeScript is a plus).
• Cloud deployment experience.
• Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience with Sitecore or Sitecore AI is considered an advantage.
