Generative AI Engineer

What does the job look like?

As a Medior AI Engineer, you will:

• Build AI Systems: Design and develop AI systems based on customer requirements, including knowledge assistants or smart automations. Utilize Python, JavaScript, AI Foundry and Azure cloud resources, applying your affinity or experience in areas such as natural language understanding (NLP), computer vision, or deep learning.
• Software Engineering Foundation: Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, applying solid software engineering principles such as version control, code review, and testing across all stages of development.
• Data Management: Work closely with data engineers and data scientists to gather and preprocess data, performing feature engineering to prepare data for AI models, particularly for generative AI processes.
• MLOps Implementation: Adopt best MLOps practices by setting up CI/CD pipelines for building, testing, and deploying code. Evaluate, deploy, and monitor AI models, including GPT-based systems, ensuring continuous improvement and rigorous testing.
• Ensure Security and Ethics: Prioritize security, privacy, and ethics in all AI solutions, ensuring compliance with best practices and regulations.

Given that many of our clients are located in Flanders, a good working knowledge of Dutch is important for this role. You feel comfortable communicating with customers and colleagues in both Dutch and English.

You have practical experience in at least some of the areas listed above and are able to work independently while knowing when to involve colleagues for guidance or collaboration. In your consultancy role, you translate customer needs into impactful AI solutions.

You are eager to keep learning, explore new developments in AI, and contribute to a team that is passionate about innovation and knowledge sharing.
