Software Developer, Insurance Core systems

We are looking for Software Developers to join a major core system renewal project in the insurance sector.

In this role, you will contribute to the development, maintenance, and version upgrade of a business-critical insurance system. Your work will include developing new functionalities, analysing and modifying existing code, supporting system upgrades, and collaborating with business and technical stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.

This position offers an excellent opportunity to deepen your expertise in Oracle technologies, enterprise systems, and insurance industry solutions while contributing to a significant modernisation project.

Your future team

In this role, you will be part of the Core systems team working with our insurance clients. Our team is responsible for insurance core systems application management services. Our team includes business analysts, project management office, test management office and extensive technical support team across Finland and Baltics.

The location of this role is Helsinki, but we operate in a flexible hybrid model. Our diverse teams decide for themselves which flexible working practices suit them best.

What We Expect From You

• Strong experience in PL/SQL development
• Experience with Oracle databases and database-driven application development
• Ability to analyze existing code and implement changes in a controlled and structured manner
• Experience with system upgrades, migrations, or version upgrade projects
• Ability to effectively leverage AI-assisted development tools and modern technologies to support software development and improve productivity
• Good collaboration and communication skills
• Professional working proficiency in English. Professional working proficiency in Finnish is seen as an advantage.
