Job Title: Senior Project Manager – Hyperscale Data Centre Programme

Location: Finland

Salary: €140,000–€160,000 Per Annum + Package

Our client is expanding its European Data Centre team and is seeking an exceptional Senior Project Manager to support the delivery of a major hyperscale data centre campus in Finland.

Working directly alongside one of the world's leading technology clients, you'll become a key member of the client's integrated delivery team, taking ownership of critical enabling works packages that will establish the foundations for a multi-billion-euro development.

This is not a traditional project management role. It is an opportunity to become a trusted client advisor, influence strategic project decisions and help deliver one of the most significant digital infrastructure programmes currently under construction in Europe.

The Opportunity

As Senior Project Manager, you will lead the delivery of the enabling works programme, managing multiple workstreams while acting as one of the client's primary delivery partners.

You'll work with designers, contractors, local authorities and specialist consultants to ensure early works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with programme objectives.

Success in this role depends as much on your ability to build trusted relationships and lead stakeholders as it does on your technical project management expertise.

What You'll Be Doing

• Serve as a trusted advisor and day-to-day representative for the client.
• Lead the delivery of enabling works packages including civil infrastructure, utilities, earthworks, temporary works and site infrastructure.
• Manage multidisciplinary consultant and contractor teams through planning, procurement and delivery.
• Drive programme certainty through proactive management of cost, schedule, risk and project controls.
• Lead project governance, reporting and executive-level client presentations.
• Build strong relationships across client, contractor and consultant organisations.
• Resolve project challenges before they become programme issues.
• Ensure project objectives are achieved while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
• Support procurement, commercial strategy and contractor performance management.
• Contribute to the successful transition from enabling works into the main construction programme.

About You

You'll be an experienced project leader who thrives in complex, fast-paced environments and enjoys working closely with sophisticated clients.

You'll bring:

• Extensive experience delivering major construction, infrastructure or mission-critical projects.
• Previous involvement in hyperscale data centres or other technically complex programmes such as semiconductor, pharmaceutical, advanced manufacturing, aviation or major infrastructure developments.
• Strong client-facing experience with the confidence to engage senior stakeholders and executive teams.
• A proven ability to lead multidisciplinary project teams and influence without direct authority.
• Excellent commercial awareness and understanding of project governance.
• Experience managing contractors throughout planning and delivery phases.
• Outstanding communication and relationship management skills.
• A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
• Professional accreditation such as MRICS, MAPM, PMP or equivalent would be advantageous.
