The context 💼:

I'm working with a client of ours — a global IT services and consulting group with operations in 20+ countries — looking for a Cybersecurity Lead to build and run their cybersecurity practice out of Brussels. This is a ground-floor opportunity: you'd be standing up the function within an established international group.

The missions 🚀:

• Strategy ownership: Define, implement and evolve the cybersecurity strategy in line with business objectives.
• Team building: Build and lead the cybersecurity team as the practice grows.
• Project delivery: Manage cybersecurity projects end-to-end, owning timelines, quality and outcomes.
• Technical reference: Act as the technical and strategic point of reference for clients, vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Proposal input: Contribute technical input into bids and proposals — scope, estimates and approach.
• Service definition: Define and shape the company's cybersecurity service catalogue.
• Vendor coordination: Coordinate technology vendors, manufacturers and partners.

Who are you ? ✌️:

• Experience: 6+ years in cybersecurity, with at least 2 years leading teams or a cybersecurity function.
• Domain background: Experience in one of the following — security operations (SOC/Blue Team), offensive security (Red Team), security engineering/architecture, advanced analysis (forensics, malware, threat intelligence) or automation and platforms (SOAR/security engineering).
• Nice to have: AppSec/DevSecOps, cloud security or IAM/Zero Trust experience.
• Leadership profile: Strong leadership instincts combined with business acumen.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills, comfortable in front of clients and internal stakeholders alike.
• Languages: Fluent English required.
