Job | CYBERSECURITY LEAD

Salary | โฌ90Kโ115K gross + bonus + benefits - 50% remote
The context ๐ผ:
I'm working with a client of ours โ a global IT services and consulting group with operations in 20+ countries โ looking for a Cybersecurity Lead to build and run their cybersecurity practice out of Brussels. This is a ground-floor opportunity: you'd be standing up the function within an established international group.
The missions ๐:
- Strategy ownership: Define, implement and evolve the cybersecurity strategy in line with business objectives.
- Team building: Build and lead the cybersecurity team as the practice grows.
- Project delivery: Manage cybersecurity projects end-to-end, owning timelines, quality and outcomes.
- Technical reference: Act as the technical and strategic point of reference for clients, vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Proposal input: Contribute technical input into bids and proposals โ scope, estimates and approach.
- Service definition: Define and shape the company's cybersecurity service catalogue.
- Vendor coordination: Coordinate technology vendors, manufacturers and partners.
Who are you ? โ๏ธ:
- Experience: 6+ years in cybersecurity, with at least 2 years leading teams or a cybersecurity function.
- Domain background: Experience in one of the following โ security operations (SOC/Blue Team), offensive security (Red Team), security engineering/architecture, advanced analysis (forensics, malware, threat intelligence) or automation and platforms (SOAR/security engineering).
- Nice to have: AppSec/DevSecOps, cloud security or IAM/Zero Trust experience.
- Leadership profile: Strong leadership instincts combined with business acumen.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills, comfortable in front of clients and internal stakeholders alike.
- Languages: Fluent English required.
