Head of Information Technology

For one of our clients, a private equity-backed healthcare services group with a strong network of medical practices across Germany, we are looking for a senior IT leader.

The organisation has grown through acquisitions and is now focused on integration, standardisation and building a scalable IT platform. Reporting to the CFO, you will lead a team of around 35 IT professionals and drive the consolidation of systems, infrastructure and patient/physician data management applications across the group.

Your tasks:

• Harmonising, standardising and consolidating IT systems, infrastructure and business-critical applications across multiple locations in Germany
• Driving the integration of fragmented application landscapes, including doctor and patient data management systems (PDMS) and comparable healthcare applications
• Developing and executing the IT roadmap supporting the company's Buy & Build strategy
• Reducing duplicated systems, processes and operating costs
• Ensuring secure, stable and reliable IT operations throughout the organisation
• Acting as a trusted business partner to senior leadership and driving cross-functional transformation initiatives
• Leading, developing and motivating an established IT organisation of approx. 35 employees
• Managing external technology partners and strategic vendors

Your profile:

• Significant leadership experience as Head of IT, IT Director or in a comparable senior IT leadership position
• Proven experience integrating and harmonising IT landscapes following acquisitions or within complex multi-site organisations
• Experience implementing, consolidating or managing doctor or patient data management systems (PDMS) or comparable operational platforms
• Strong knowledge of enterprise applications, infrastructure, cybersecurity and IT governance
• Experience in a private equity-backed Buy & Build environment or another fast-growing, decentralised services business is highly desirable
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to successfully lead organisational change
• A pragmatic, hands-on and execution-oriented leadership style
• Fluent German and English
• Willingness to be regularly on-site across locations in the Greater Bavarian area
