We are looking for an Interface Developer Intern to support our ongoing work with a large Irish financial organization. This role focuses on translating management patterns into clear, functional digital interfaces that help teams stay coordinated and focused. As a fully remote member of the team, you will help us build the tools that make our advisory work tangible and easy for a client to maintain after our project ends.
About the role
The Interface Developer Intern position exists to bridge the gap between our advisory recommendations and the day-to-day tools our clients use. In many large firms, critical information is often trapped in complex spreadsheets or lost in long email chains. Your task is to build the "surfaces" where management happens: these might be small internal web tools, tracking dashboards, or visual records of decision-making. Since this is an internship, you will work closely with our consultants to understand the friction points in the client's current habits. It is a remote role that requires a mix of technical coding ability and a strong sense of how information should be organized for clarity.
What you will do
We need someone who values simplicity and order. While this is a technical role, your success depends on your ability to listen to how a team works and provide a digital solution that makes their life easier. You should be comfortable working independently in a remote environment and managing your own tasks. A high attention to detail is necessary, especially when it comes to visual consistency and the accuracy of the data being displayed. We value people who are curious about organizational habits and who prefer a clean, functional design over something flashy but confusing.
Helpful background
This is a full-time, fully remote internship that provides a view into how management consulting works at a high level. You will have the opportunity to build tools that are used by a major financial entity, seeing your code solve real operational problems. The position is a paid role with a salary that is competitive for the intern market. You will receive regular feedback and guidance from experienced professionals while having the autonomy to solve technical problems on your own. We focus on a quiet, professional rhythm where the quality of work is more important than the number of hours spent visibility online.
About Olive Tree Consulting
Olive Tree Consulting Group is a focused advisory practice that helps leadership teams solve recurring management issues. We typically work on the space between strategy and daily execution. A team can have very capable people and still find that decisions keep reopening, priorities stall, or responsibility remains unclear. These are rarely personality problems; they are structural habits that have not kept up with the company's growth.
We favor practical changes over large-scale transformation programs. Our work involves looking at how decisions are made, how meetings are run, and how ownership is recorded. We prefer useful written notes and clear ownership over polished presentations and vague alignment. Good advisory work should make things plainer and leave the team with a rhythm they can continue on their own.
The firm is built on the principle that memory is not a management system. We help teams create the smallest possible written record to support their work so that important follow-up does not depend on who was in the room or who has the best memory. The goal is a quieter management pattern that makes the existing work easier to lead.
