Computer Numerical Control Operator

We are seeking skilled CNC Operators to join a growing engineering team working on advanced industrial machinery platforms. This role involves setting up and operating precision CNC machining equipment in a manufacturing environment to produce high-quality components.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathes and/or milling machines to manufacture precision components.
• Load raw materials, change tooling, and adjust machine offsets as required.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Troubleshoot minor machine issues and optimise machining cycle times.
• Machine a variety of materials, including steel, aluminium, and stainless steel.
• Ensure components are manufactured to the required quality standards and tolerances.
• Maintain a safe and organised work environment while following company procedures.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Previous CNC machining or general machining experience.
• Familiarity with precision measuring equipment and working to tight tolerances.
• Knowledge of CAM software would be an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
