Software Engineer - C#/.NET (m/f/d)

Your Responsibilities

  • Design and develop C#/.NET applications using WinUI for our EV charger test system suites
  • Contribute to and evolve the existing software architecture by developing reusable libraries and frameworks, ensuring robustness, scalability, and long-term maintainability
  • Design and optimize user-friendly interfaces to streamline test execution, enhance productivity and efficiency, and minimize human error
  • Drive continuous improvement by adopting new methodologies, tools, and technologies to enhance software quality, performance, and automation capabilities
  • Collaborate closely with system engineers and embedded developers to analyze and define test requirements, ensuring alignment with both hardware and software specifications
  • Provide technical support, debugging, and validation for test systems, troubleshooting complex hardware-software interaction issues throughout development and production phases
  • Oversee software commissioning to ensure smooth deployment, proper hardware integration, and full functionality within the testing environment
  • Promote and implement best practices in software development, testing, and documentation


Your Qualifications & Skills

  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong expertise in object-oriented programming using C#/.NET
  • Proven experience in developing desktop applications, with solid knowledge of WinUI
  • Sound understanding of software architecture, design patterns, clean code principles, and automated testing
  • Experience with hardware communication protocols such as Ethernet/IP, CAN, Modbus, ZeroMQ, or OPC UA is a plus
  • Independent, solution-oriented working style with strong analytical thinking skills
  • High level of motivation, with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Fluent in English, Italian and/or German are a plus

  • Total compensation: € 64.000-€ 96.000 including 30% variable bonus based on goal achievement

Should the position's responsibilities, seniority level, or location differ during the recruitment process, the applicable compensation range may be adjusted accordingly, in line with local market conditions and internal compensation frameworks.
